Updated on June 11th, 2021 by Hodey Johns: It doesn't shock the world that Skyrim is still alive and well, between the official DLC and expansions and the community adding mods, the game seems to be forever fresh. Allies of a fallen foe will go into a frenzy, but they can't kill what they can't see and you'll be the shadow that shoots their way to victory in Skyrim. Anything alive after one hit from an archer is likely not going to survive for a third round, especially against the dreaded stealth archer. That is, of course, being a bit charitable. RELATED: Skyrim: The Mind Of Madness Quest Walkthrough Call them archers, snipers, bowmen, whatever you want, but don't call them names unless you want to end up looking like a reverse porcupine. But a well-placed arrow in Skyrim can hit targets for as far as your gaming device can render them. Without using Conjuration/Illusion I think the Mage style is the most overpowered, if I also include those schools then there's not even a debate in my mind.Axes have a limit of a few feet.

The master Destruction spells are so horribly unbalanced that it's almost a crime, undead stand no chance against a master destruction mage and everything else may take 1-2 more casts before they're obliterated.

If you then add in Conjuration and/or Illusion then there is literally nothing that should touch you, no need to even use stealth you can just waltz into any area and brush enemies aside with little effort. Paralysis, turn undead and impact give you field control that no other build can even come close to touching, as long as you have enough of a magicka reserve (I put everything into Magicka and had over 800 by the endgame, plus enchantments). And this was without using Conjuration or Illusion for a good chunk of the playthrough. At one point I had to use console commands to remove the impact perk because it completely breaks the combat system and even then I still found it stupidly overpowered.

This will probably be unpopular but I'd have to say the most overpowered build I've used in recent memory was a Destruction/Restoration mage.
